Apex Legends Voidwalker limited-time event stars Wraith

The Apex Legends Voidwalker event starts tomorrow and focuses on Wraith, developer Respawn has recently advised.

The two event runs between 3-17 September and “will be introducing lots of awesome content including a new town takeover, a limited-time mode, challenges, and more,” according to a new blog post.

The event will include a Wraith Town Takeover alongside the limited-time event called Armed and Dangerous. In it, “weapons are limited to snipers and shotguns while overall loot is much harder to come by.” If players enjoy the event, they may be able to convince Respawn to keep it permanently by filling in in-game surveys.

There’s also a chance to earn or buy Wraith-specific cosmetics by completing free challenges or by hitting up the Direct Purchase Shop. “Outside of the legendary skin and frame, all themed cosmetics are $5 [USD],” Respawn advised.

Finally, Respawn confirmed that players will earn double XP on Top 5 finishes and wins between 6-9 September. The bonus will affect both Account Level and Battle Pass progression.

Apex Legends is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
