AO Tennis game on the way from Big Ant Studios

Big Ant Studios, known for Ashes Cricket, Rugby League Live 4 and Don Bradman Cricket, is in the process of developing AO Tennis, a title seemingly tied to Melbourne’s Australian Open.

The Australian Classification board classified AO Tennis as G for General last Thursday, though hardly any other information is known.

We’ve gone to Big Ant for comment on the title, which seems to match the tournament’s latest branding change, getting rid of the traditional “Australian Open” branding (left, above) for a stylised “AO” instead (above, right).

Held in Melbourne over 15-28 January 2018, it’s possible that AO Tennis will be timed to match. We’ll report back when more is known.

Are you excited about the possibility of a new tennis game on PC and consoles? AO Tennis will have a competitor in Tennis World Tour, a game planned for a 2018 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
