AO Tennis’ doubles mode is very broken right now

AO Tennis’ doubles mode is virtually unplayable at the moment.

As tested on Xbox One in both couch co-op and solo play, the once-stable doubles mode essentially lets one of two partners actually hit the tennis ball. The other player is unable to swing his or her racquet due to a nasty bug.

Worse yet, the bug seems to come and go, with some points played out normally and others broken from serve. An on-screen player tends to jitter back and forth when the bug is triggered.

Developer Big Ant didn’t comment directly on the bug when asked, but said a change to Xbox patching should improve the speed and pace at which updates are pushed out to console. Big Ant told Stevivor that this rapid patching tool should become available on 1 February.
