Anthem live-action short coming from District 9’s Blomkamp

An Anthem live-action short film will soon debut, directed by District 9 and Chappie‘s Neill Blomkamp.

Available on 14 February (how romantic), a teaser trailer has been released for the film, titled Anthem: Conviction. It’s below, alongside the YouTube embed for the short itself.

“I was really blown away by this incredible world BioWare created the very first time I saw Anthem,” Blomkamp said. “Conviction sets the stage with a narrative that touches on Anthem’s beautiful and immersive world, which is ripe for exploration by these powerful Javelins. A world where danger is lurking on every ledge and in each valley.”

Anthem heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 22 February. Origin Access Premier members can start playing on 15 February, while Origin Access Basic and EA Access subscribers can start a 10-hour trial at the same time.
