Animal Crossing Pocket Camp offline app coming December

The Animal Crossing Pocket Camp offline app will grace smartphones from 3 December, Nintendo has today confirmed.

The offline app follows the online shutdown of the free-to-play Pocket Camp on 29 November.

Nintendo also confirmed that “if you link your Animal Crossing Pocket Camp save data with your existing (or newly created) Nintendo Account by 2nd June, 2025 at 17:00 AEST, you’ll be able to transfer over your game progress to the new Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete game.”

“Once there, get busy earning Leaf Tokens which can be exchanged for in-game items or even used to shorten crafting times,” Nintendo continued. “New for this version of the game are Camper Cards – customisable in-game cards that each player can create and trade through a QR code, and that include information like the player’s personal favourite animal pal.”

Pocket Camp Complete will be available for an introductory price of $9.99 AUD or $12.99 NZD; the title’s asking price will be raised from 31 January 2025 at 5.00 pm AEDT.
