Animal Crossing crossover heading to Aussie and New Zealand aquariums soon

Get hype.

Nintendo and ANZ aquariums are teaming up for a new Animal Crossing New Horizons experience that’ll sweep Australia and New Zealand this year.

“For the first time, Animal Crossing New Horizons is teaming up with Sea Life ANZ for a new live, interactive experience,” reads a press release from the pair. “This partnership allows guests to discover incredible marine life alongside some of the game’s most beloved characters.”

Starting in Sea Life Sydney on 1 April, the tour will then head to Melbourne sometime after 18 May, followed by the Sunshine Coast and finally Auckland, though those subsequent dates haven’t been revealed as yet.

“We are thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind experience to our Sea Life attractions across Australia and New Zealand,” sad Ian Wood of the aquariums. “In this exciting collaboration, guests will embark on an immersive journey alongside beloved Animal Crossing New Horizons characters, all while being surrounded by thousands of incredible marine creatures – from majestic green sea turtles to striking grey nurse sharks.”

Animal Crossing New Horizons is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
