Anarchy Reigns to hit Australian shores in January

SEGA announced yesterday that Anarchy Reigns will arrive in Australia for PS3 and Xbox 360 in January 2013.

Developed by Platinum Games, SEGA says that “Anarchy Reigns delivers over-the-top close combat, set in a massively open and fantastical world in a bleak, mutant-filled future.”

Characters from the Platinum Games stable — largely from MadWorld — will duke it out, and up to 16 players can take part in multiplayer matches over a variety of game mode. Says SEGA, you’ll be able to “engage in all-out Battle Royale destruction, co-operate with your friends and vanquish hordes of monsters in Survival mode or test your sportsmanship over a few rounds of Deathball.

Anarchy Reigns has a suggested retail price of $49.95 and arrives for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 10 January 2013.
