Amazon, Rocksteady may have just spoiled the ending to Batman: Arkham Knight

Amazon UK’s (now-pulled) listing for Batman: Arkham Knight‘s Collector’s Edition may have accidentally spoiled the ending of the upcoming game.

Now, it goes without saying here: spoiler alert, Bat-fans.

In the previous entry, the game’s bonus Batman statue featured an engraving that read “From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight”. Said engraving has now been photoshopped to only feature the text “Gotham Knight”.

The change leads many to believe that Rocksteady plans on killing off the Caped Crusader at the end of the game. This reporter isn’t sold on the idea; one, we’re talking about Batman, here. Two, just because the statue is photoshopped for our protection now doesn’t mean gamers aren’t going to look at the thing until they’re finished with the game. Surely Rocksteady wouldn’t be so careless?

Then again, Joker didn’t make it through Arkham City, did he?

We’ll put it to you, dear readers: what do you think about this whole thing?

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available in June on Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
