All of The Witcher 3’s DLC will be free

All of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s 16 DLC packs will be free to those who’ve purchased the game, according to an open letter by CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwiński.

“We love games. We love collecting them, playing them, and everything connected to that experience. Every time we reach out for a new release, we expect to be taken care of,” Iwiński said. “We expect support if we encounter any problems, we love updates constantly improving the experience, and we feel really special when we receive free content that gives us more than we initially paid for. It doesn’t have to be huge, it can be an awesome skin for a character, or an extra sword, or armor.”

Wild Hunt gets two new DLC packs per week from 25 February. The first set includes armour doe Geralt and his horse alongside customisation options for Geralt.

The Witcher 3 is available from 24 February on Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
