Aliens: Colonial Marines will not be released on Wii U

Like we all didn’t see this one coming.

Sega has confirmed that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be not released on Wii U, what was once called the game’s flagship platform.

Speaking with Kotaku, Sega said “we are constantly looking at all areas of our business and in this case have made the decision to not continue development of the Wii U version.”

“Rest assured that we have some fantastic developments for Wii U in the pipeline which we will announce at a later date,” Sega offered as a consolation.

Are you surprised about this, gamers? Do you think the Wii U GamePad would have made the Colonial Marines‘ motion tracker gameplay that much better? You tell us.
