Alien: Isolation’s pre-order bonus DLC will be available to purchase after launch

Creative Assembly confirmed over the weekend that Alien: Isolation‘s special pre-order bonus content will also be available as purchasable DLC after the game’s release.

The pre-order bonus content was originally said to be available exclusively to those who reserved the game, pre-release, and included two missions featuring the cast from the original 1979 Alien film.

“However, some of you have been asking if the two pieces of content are only available through pre-order or if we’ll be releasing them at a later date as well,” Creative Assembly Community Manager Ngan Nguyen said on the Alien: Isolation Facebook page. “So, I can confirm today that we do plan to release both Crew Expendable and Last Survivor at a later date and we’ll have more details for you guys on that shortly.”

Good news for those who hate pre-ordering, right?

Alien: Isolation will be available from 7 October on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
