Alien Isolation sequel coming from Creative Assembly

What great news on the 10th anniversary of the original!

An Alien Isolation sequel is in the works at Creative Assembly, the studio has today declared in honour of the original’s 10th anniversary.

“I’m delighted to confirm, on behalf of the team, that a sequel to Alien Isolation is in early development,” creative director Al Hope wrote in a statement on Twitter.

“We look forward to sharing more details with you when we’re ready,” Hope continued.

We adored Alien Isolation when it was first released back in 2014.

“This is without a doubt an Alien game that finally lives up to the franchise’s promise, and one that every gamer should play,” I wrote at the time. “That said, it’s not for the faint of heart; it’s not full of jump scares, but high-tension and stressful moments will require a certain type of player.”

We’ll have more on the Alien Isolation sequel as news becomes available. The original is available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and Switch.
