Alien: Isolation gets an October release date

Over the weekend, Alien: Isolation‘s official Twitter account confirmed that the game will be available for purchase in October.

Developed by The Creative Assembly, the news comes just after further confirmations that the game will attempt to capture the desolation and desperation of the original Alien film.

Alien: Isolation will be available from 7 October 2014 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
