AFL Evolution: Western Bulldogs’ Marcus Bontempelli selected as cover star

First the premiership, and now the cover of AFL Evolution.

The AFL today announced that the reigning champion Western Bulldogs’ Marcus Bontempelli has been selected as the game’s cover star.

128,000 entries were received in the popular vote, with Bontempelli garnering 23% of the total cast. St Kilda’s Tim Membrey came in second with 19% of the vote, followed by Collingwood’s Adam Treloar with 15%.

Three players total will appear on the cover, though the AFL has said that the other two positions will “be decided at a later date”.

AFL Evolution heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 next year.
