Adam West will star as Batman one more time after his passing

Adam West will appear as Batman one last time thanks to an animated feature that will be released after his death.

West, who sadly passed a week ago, finished voice recording for the Batman vs. Two-Face DC animated feature film.

Warner Bros. confirmed with IGN that West had finished his work a full two months ago.

Batman vs. Two-Face is a sequel to 2016’s Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. Both are set in the Batman ’66 universe, which follows the world established in the classic television show.

West will be joined by series mainstays Burt Ward as Robin and Julie Newmar as Catwoman. The villainous Two-Face will be voiced by Star Trek‘s Captain Kirk, William Shatner.

Batman vs. Two-Face is due for release later this year.
