Activision launches a teaser website for (the allegedly titled) Call of Duty: Ghosts

Rumours about the next Call of Duty game are flying fast and furious, and Activision seems to be having a grand old time keeping us guessing.

Call of Duty site CharlieIntel led the charge last week, alleging that the next CoD game would be subtitled Ghosts. They also posted box art for Call of Duty: Ghosts, pictured above, that they claim was obtained from retailed Tesco Direct.

Today, Activision released a “Call of Duty: ______” teaser website that’s basically preying upon our desire to learn the game’s full name.

On the site, you’ll see an image made out of several hundred (or is that thousand) smaller ones. You’re able to zoom into look at the smaller images, and each reveals itself to be a profile picture of a Twitter user. Interestingly enough, the larger image looks very much like Ghost from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Coincidence? I think not.

I’m sure we won’t have long before Activision confirms or denies Call of Duty: Ghosts.
