Activision Blizzard partners with Facebook to broadcast live MLG Esports

Activision Blizzard today declared it will work with Facebook Live to broadcast MLG.tv Esports over the popular social media service.

Activision Blizzard Media Networks’ Mike Sespo said that Esports is a “cultural phenomenon at its tipping point.”

“Facebook is uniquely positioned to help Esports fans connect around exciting moments and great Esports content,” Facebook’s Dan Reed added.

Facebook has over 1.6 billion registered users.
