Activision Blizzard now officially owns Candy Crush Saga

Activision Blizzard today closed its $5.9 billion USD acquisition of King, the maker of Candy Crush Saga.

While King will continue to operate independently, there’s no denying that Activision Blizzard can now tap into King’s 310 million strong userbase, potentially to expand into the mobile market.

Activision Blizzard has also recently purchased Esports organisation Major League Gaming.
