AC Valhalla director leaves Ubisoft to join EA Motive

And Eric Baptizat is working on that game that may be Dead Space...

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Director Eric Baptizat has left Ubisoft after 16 years of service in order to join EA Motive as game director on an as yet unannounced title.

Axios reports that reports that Baptizat actually left the company back in April of 2021.

Baptizat, who worked on Valhalla as well as Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Origins, is likely working on EA Motive’s rumoured reboot of an existing IP. Further rumours this month suggest that game is none other than survival horror franchise Dead Space.

We’ll report back as more is known as to both Baptizat’s role and EA Motive’s next title.

EA Motive’s latest title is Star Wars Squadrons.
