A day in, World of Warcraft Tokens have lost 25% of their initial value

A day into the scheme, World of Warcraft‘s WoW Tokens have already lost 25% of their initial value.

It’s a case of economics applied to video games, people; it seems as if players wanted to covert tokens to gold too quickly, effectively flooding the market and placing power in the hands of buyers.

Blizzard initially set the starting price of a token at 30,000 gold, but at the time of writing, the tokens are now valued at around 21,830 gold according to WoWToken.info.

If you’re looking to sell a Token, it’s advised to hold off for a bit until things settle.
