A $20 iOS port of The World Ends With You scheduled for release tomorrow

Am I the only person who keeps thinking of James Bond when I hear the title of Square Enix’s DS classic The World Ends With You?

At any rate, the mysterious counter on Square Enix’s site has finished up and revealed an iOS port of The World Ends With You, which is definitely not the sequel that many fans where hoping for. The port is fairly pricey as well, coming in at $18 on the iPhone or $20 on the iPad.

Dubbed the “Solo Remix,” The World Ends With You on iOS features redrawn HD artwork and additional music (including some selections from Kingdom Hearts 3D).

Square Enix has said the title will be available for download on 27 August, but we’re assuming that’s a US release date — gamers, you’ll definitely be able to access this from tomorrow.

Now, the obvious question here is, are you going to be picking up this remade title at such a high price? Or, is this a fair price? You tell us.
