2K new franchise reveal this month; game “this fiscal year”

What could it be?

A new franchise from 2K will be revealed this month, with the game itself coming later “this fiscal year,” parent company Take-Two has confirmed.

The news has come as part of Take-Two’s first-quarter earnings report.

“This fiscal year” means that the new game could come out at any time between now and 31 March 2022.

The new franchise is said to be part of four total “immersive core releases” for the 2022 fiscal year. The other three titles are known quantities: NBA 2K22, WWE 2K22 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
