007 First Light Switch 2 release delayed beyond May 2026

Expect it later in the year.

007 First Light on Switch 2 has been delayed into later in the year, IO Interactive has announced.

The title was expected on 27 May 2026 across Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2; only the latter’s release date has been delayed.

007 First Light comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 27th, 2026, and Nintendo Switch 2 later this summer,” the studio said on the game’s official Twitter account. “We’re excited to see players discovering James Bond’s reimagined origin story, and we are looking forward to bringing you the best game experience possible across all platforms.”

This is IO Interactive’s second delay — the title was first delayed by two months across all platforms.

007 First Light heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5 from 27 May 2026; a Switch 2 release follows at an unknown date.
