Resident Evil 5: The Rotten Egg glitch still works on Xbox One

The famed Resident Evil 5 Rotten Egg, easy money glitch still works on Xbox One, though steps involved are different than the game’s original glitch on Xbox 360.

Here’s how to do it, duplicating high-value items to stockpile and sell on for cash:

  • Step 1: Connect a second controller and Xbox account to your Xbox One, but don’t have it play RE5 straight off the bat. The account doesn’t have to be a Gold account, but it can’t be a Guest.
  • Step 2: Load the game in single-player mode (Chapter 1-2 was used in the video above) and give the AI Sheva all the items you want to duplicate.
  • Step 3: On the second controller, hit start to change to split-screen.
  • Step 4: Give Chris the items as Sheva.
  • Step 5: Quit the game using Chris’ controller.

Enjoy!
