Pokemon Sun and Moon: Get four Mega Stones with this code

Four Mega Stones are available for Pokémon Sun and Moon, allowing trainers to power up Pidgeot, Steelix, Heracross and Houndoom.

The four Pokémon affected by the Stones aren’t available in-game, so they’ll have to be transferred into it from the Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter. Sadly, the Pokémon will lose all items in the transfer, according to Nintendo.

Here’s how to get the stones once you’ve transferred over the necessary Pokémon:

  • Start Pokémon Sun or Moon.
  • Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  • Select Receive Gift.
  • Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  • Enter password AZUL
  • Watch as you receive the Mega Stones.
  • Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
  • Save your game.

Easy as… well, it wasn’t that easy, actually. Still, Pidgeotite, Steelixite, Heracronite and Houndoominite are now yours!

Pokémon Sun and Moon is now available on 3DS.
