Pokemon Go Looming in the Shadows is the latest research quest that players can embark upon, fighting the villanous Team Rocket in the process. Here’s what’s required as part of the full quest.

Looming in the Shadows Step 1/6

• Spin 10 PokeStops
• Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts
• Catch 1 Shadow Pokemon

Rewards: 500 Stardust, 10 Pokeballs, 10 Razz Berries

Looming in the Shadows Step 2/6

  • Spin a PokeStop 5 days in a row
  • Purify 15 Shadow Pokemon
  • Win 5 raids

Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 3 Hyper Potions, 3 Revives

Looming in the Shadows Step 3/6

 

  • Use six super effective Charge Moves in Gym Battles
  • Win three Great League Trainer Battles against another Trainers
  • Defeat six Team GO Rocket Grunts

 

Rewards: 1,500 Stardust, 15 Great Balls & 5 Pinap Berries

Looming in the Shadows Step 4/6

 

  • Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader Arlo
  • Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader Cliff
  • Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader Sierra

 

Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, one Super Rocket Radar & three Golden Razz Berries

  • Find the Team GO Rocket Boss
  • Battle the Team GO Rocket Boss
  • Defeat the Team GO Rocket Boss

Rewards: 3,000 Stardust, one Fast TM & one Charged TM

Rewards: Shadow Articuno, 3 Max Revives, 20 Ultra Balls and three Rare Candies
