How many chapters are there in Resident Evil 4 remake?

And how long does Resident Evil 4 remake take to beat?

Resident Evil 4 remake is out now, and this guide tells you how many chapters it has alongside an idea of how long it takes to beat it.

Be wary, though — spoilers continue on from this point, so read at your own peril.

From our playthrough, there are 16 chapters in Resident Evil 4 remake. Our first playthrough took 16 hours to complete, though there are requirements in-game to have you beat it in 5 hours or less. Speedruns are very possible.

Whlie chapters don’t have names, they’re based in one of three locations: Village, Castle and Island.

There are many, many collectibles in the game; this guide will get you on the right path.

The Resident Evil 4 remake heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 from 24 March 2023; we reviewed it here.
