Destiny 2 Leviathan’s Breath Guide: Make Bows, Not War

Destiny 2 has a new quest today and you can complete it to earn the Leviathan’s Breath Exotic Bow.

Players should not that the Bow’s associated quest, Make Bows, Not War, is only available to those with the Season of the Undying pass. If you can access the Premium Season Pass rewards, you should be good to go.

With that said, here’s what you’ll need to do.

The Back Way

  • To start the quest, head to Banshee-44 (optional: read the quest and get sad that he’s forgotten we’ve lost Cayde).
  • From there, we need to get into Banshee’s secret Tower workshop. Here’s how:
    • Get to the top of the roof of the Future War Cult.
    • Look forward and to the left from the roof, pointed back towards Banshee. You’ll see an overhang. Jump to it.
    • Follow the path until you get to a red-lighted meeting room. Take the open door.
    • Go through the vent system until you get into a storage area. Jump up some containers through a vent in the ceiling.
    • Follow the path until you get to a climbing puzzle.

Here’s a video I’ve just made showing off how bad I am at Destiny 2 with a keyboard and mouse. You’ll get the idea nonetheless.

Where Are the Keys, Sir

  • Head back to Banshee-44 to get the next quest step.

Intro to Safecracking 101

  • From here, you’ll need to generate data through the completion of Gambit matches or StrikesGambit Prime matches provide more data than their regular counterparts.

Advanced Safecracking 101

  • Next, you’ll need to kill Vex or Cabal enemies with precision Bow kills. Good spots for tihs are the Vex Offensive on the Moon (Vex) or the Leviathan Raid on Nessus (Cabal).

Economics of War

  • This requires completion of a special 900 Power level Arms Dealer Strike on the EDZ. Elemental weapons deal more damage in this one.

Applied Cryptosecurity

  • This one’s easy — head back to Banshee-44.

Martial Archery 401

  • Head back to Banshee-44’s secret Tower workshop to collect your prize.

Again, here’s my video in case you’re forgetful.

Enjoy!

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
