Destiny 2 Faction Token farming guide: The best tips, all in one place

Clever Guardians have already found several ways to farm Destiny 2 Faction Tokens. Here are the best two for you to try yourself.

The Tokens are a necessary part of the game’s new Faction Rally event, in which one of three Factions will win the right to purchase a shiny new special weapon for just 1,000 Glimmer.

Here are the methods currently suggested to beef up on Tokens.

Lost Oasis

Redditor T1gigz suggests the following:

  • Load “Lost Oasis” on the planet Io.
  • Go to the Lost Sector directly on your left.
  • Run through and shoot the 6 crates.
  • Rinse and repeat.

Firebase Hades

As Redditor absoundwave explains, “In the bottom right firebase hades lost sector, there are 4 possible crate spawn locations and 3 crates spawn each time. Each full run cycle is only 20-25 seconds. all the targets spawn in line-of-sight as soon as you enter the room. Very consistent, can’t get much better than this”

Looks like you’ve a little choice in how you earn Tokens. Or, you know, you could always just play normally — completion of Public Events, Raids, Strikes and the Crucible will all earn Faction Tokens.

Which Faction have you pledged to? Do you plan to use these techniques?

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One and PS4. It heads to Windows PC next month.
