Cyberpunk 2077 fast money guide: Earn eddies with this side mission

Thanks, Space Oddity.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now, and we’ve a guide to earn fast money — or make that fast eddies — thanks to a special side mission called Space Oddity.

You’ll be able to access the Space Oddity quest and by progressing through the game’s story until you complete Playing for Time. When accessible, go and complete Space Oddity to be able to take advantage of the fast money ‘glitch’.

By completing the Space Oddity quest, you’ll eventually gain access to a painting held inside a Militech container. That painting — Untitled 18 – Brancesi, 2021 — is your ticket to riches beyond compare.

When you’ve access to the painting, head to any Drop Box (indicated on the map by a white box) and sell the painting for $3000 eddies. Quit out of the Drop Box and then re-enter it to buy it back for $5. Then, rinse and repeat until that Drop Box doesn’t have any money left in it; after you’ve bought your painting back, the Drop Box will have a paltry $25 left. The Drop Box will eventually replenish itself, but while you’re waiting for that to happen, you can head to Night City’s various other Drop Boxes to take advantage of their spoils.

Remember to buy back your painting so you can continue on, and enjoy your newfound riches!

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, backwards compatible on Xbox Series S & X and PS5.
