CoD Black Ops 4 Blackout mystery boxes explained

Call of Duty Black Ops 4′s Blackout mode has a lot going on inside of it, but we’re here to help — this post is focusing on the mode’s mystery boxes.

Located near zombie infestations — and marked on a Blackout map here — mystery boxes are marked with two question marks and a teddy bear (see above). If you’re unsure of how to unlock each box, we’ve got the answer.

You’re probably not going to like the answer, by the way.

You’ve got to fight your way to the mystery box’s rewards, and that means dispatching all of the zombies around it. Your kills will be loud and will likely attract the attention of fellow players, so be prepared for a huge firefight.

In the end, the battle will be worth it — the mystery boxes contain tons of loot; grabbing it all will make you a formidable force on the battlefield. Good luck!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We’ve tips on how to play Blackout here and a full Blackout map here.
