Can’t use Destiny 2 item managers? We have a fix!

Logging into Destiny 2 after a long break to start up the new Warmind expansion? You’ll likely find that item managers like Destiny Item Manager, Ishtar Commander and even Bungie’s own Destiny 2 Companion App aren’t working.

Thankfully, there’s an easy fix.

All you need to do to get Destiny 2 APIs up and running again is to log into each character that you have. Destiny Item Manager says you need to go and configure each character’s new emote wheel (via Character > Emotes) but we didn’t even have to go that far.

Voila — you’ll then be able to login to your item manager of choice and transfer weapons and swap armour on the fly. Just like the good ol’ days!

Destiny 2 and its new Warmind expansion are available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
