Atomfall Guide: How to get three Trophies or Achievements from robots

Unplugged, Any Old Iron, and Batteries Not Included could all be yours...

Available now in early access, our latest Atomfall guide will tell you how to unlock three robot Trophies of Achievements: Unplugged, Any Old Iron, and Batteries Not Included.

There are plenty of large B.A.R.D. robots running around the game, but it’s best to leave this right at the endgame as you’ll likely be as powered up as possible. At the end, there are three robots that you can attempt these Trophies or Achievements on.

With a ton of ammo, try to single out one robot and shoot at one focused weakpoint. That could be the head of any B.A.R.D. robot, or in the case of the ones near Oberon, firetanks on each shoulder. Blow one of those up with your bullets, and the robot will power down for a brief while.

While this is occurring, you can do all three of these actions for related Trophies or Achievements:

  1. Run to the back of the robot and select Extract Battery to remove it and place it in your backpack (Unplugged Trophy or Unplugged Achievement)
  2. Now that the robot is powered down, reload all your weaponry (this is important), then Search the robot. Go into your Backpack and replace the battery (Batteries Not Included Trophy or Batteries Not Included Achievement)
  3. The robot will power up, so run like hell and get some distance, then target another weakpoint. When the robot temporarily powers down, this time shoot at the battery until it explodes (Any Old Iron Trophy or Any Old Iron Achievement)

Voila, those Trophies and Achievements are yours.
