Resident Evil Requiem: Pre-orders, editions, pricing, and a Switch amiibo

Lots going on.

Yesterday’s Resident Evil Requiem “Road to Requiem” announcement was full of new information, including the availability to pre-order alongside news of the franchise’s very first Switch amiibo.

Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 Pro Controller and amiibo

Capcom’s putting a lot of attention towards the Switch 2 release of Requiem, not only announcing a Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller on launch day, 27 February 2026, but a Grace Ashcroft amiibo that will follow later in 2026.

We don’t have imagery of the amiibo as yet, but you can take a look at the new controller below.

In terms of other platforms, Capcom also confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions, “with the Deluxe edition featuring the same base game as the Standard edition, plus an exclusive pack of five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and more!”

The Standard Edition will set Aussies back $107.95 AUD, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $122.95 AUD.

Here’s where you can pre-order each edition:

Those on Switch 2 can also buy the Resident Evil Generation Pack, which includes Requiem alongside Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village for $137.96 AUD.

“In celebration of Capcom’s introduction into the Epic Games Store, players who purchase Resident Evil Requiem via Epic Games Store will receive special Resident Evil-themed collaboration items in Fortnite like the Grace skin,” Capcom added. “Fortnite collaboration items will be distributed following Resident Evil Requiem‘s release.”

Spoilers follow on this line: The Requiem costumes in questions have also seemingly outed that Leon S. Kennedy will feature into Requiem‘s story in some way — likely as a playable character — so look forward to that!
