A wave of NBA 2K25 information, including its editions, release date, and cover stars was revealed late last week.

NBA 2K25 special editions

As is the norm, a host of NBA 2K25 special editions will be on offer in September this year. Pricing and inclusions are as follows:

• The NBA 2K25 Standard Edition is priced at $119.95 AUD / $129.95 NZD and includes the base game
• The NBA 2K25 All-Star Edition is priced at $159.95 AUD / $169.95 NZD and includes 100,000 VC and MyTEAM content, 10 MyTEAM Player Cards (3 guaranteed to be 89 OVR), 3 Diamond Shoe Cards, 3 Takeover Boosts, and 1 Amethyst Coach Card, MyCAREER content including 150x Skill Boosts (25 Games), 75x Gatorade Boosts (25 Games), Jayson Tatum Cover Jersey, Jayson Tatum Electric Skateboard Skin, and a 2K25 Cover Stars Design T-Shirt
• The  NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition is priced at $239.95 AUD / $249.95 NZD and includes everything in the All-Star Edition plus a MyCAREER Vince Carter Cover Jersey, a Season 1 Pro Pass with 4 upfront Pro Pass rewards and a 12-Month NBA League Pass Subscription

The NBA 2K25 WNBA Edition will not be available within Australia and is a GameStop exclusive in Canada and the USA.

NBA 2K25 cover stars

There are a number of cover stars tied to this year’s iteration, all tied to its various editions. Cover stars are as follows:

• Standard Edition: Boston Celtics’ forward Jayson Tatum
• WBNA Edition: Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson
• All-Star Edition: Tatum and Wilson
• Hall of Fame Edition: eight-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter
