Elden Ring
Another day, another Stevivor’s Game of the Year (GOTY) Award to give away! Today, we’re all about the best ongoing game of 2024.
There are so many long-running titles that have continued on into 2024, but none were better than Elden Ring. Specifically, no ongoing support was better than Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
“Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is the perfect encore to one of the greatest games of all time,” Ben wrote in his review. “It knows it’s already delivered an astonishing performance, and after leaving us hanging, returns asking if we want more. That’s exactly what we wanted, and it’s more of the same in all the right ways.”
Well-deserving runners-up in this category include Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 — go play Night Springs and The Lake House if you haven’t — and Activision Blizzard’s Diablo 4.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5. We’ll see you back here tomorrow for best indie title of the year.
