We’re continuing on with Stevivor’s Game of the Year (GOTY) 2024 Awards program with best audio experience of 2024.
This was another very close category, with Stevivor staffers giving Astro Bot the award thanks to a number of catchy, quirky tunes.
From sound effects, full-on homages to classic PlayStation titles, and tracks that’ll get the insides of your PS5 moving, you have to hand it to Astro Bot for having sounds that match its incredibly wholesome visuals. Well done.
Runners-up in the indie category include LocalThunk’s earworm that is Balatro alongside Konami & Bloober Team’s sublime Silent Hill 2.
