EA Access doesn’t require Xbox Live Gold

Less than a week after its launch, EA has clarified that their new EA Access service doesn’t require Xbox Live Gold.

Users are able to download the EA Access app and subscribe to its $7 AUD/month service without Microsoft’s multiplayer subscription. That said, games that have online play elements will still need Gold access as per normal.
