Nintendo’s Miyamoto will spend more time on theme parks than on the Switch

Speaking with Glixel, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that he’ll be devoting most of his time to newly announced Univeral Studios Nintendo-themed parks rather than the publisher’s newest console, the Nintendo Switch.

“We have these younger people in the company who are taking the lead on Switch development and it’s really been them that have put this forward and designed this system,” Miyamoto said. “They’re the ones that have really shepherded it through the process.”

Nintendo has recently confirmed that the Switch will be further detailed in mid-January.
