Overwatch: You can’t form groups or play as a Party yet on Xbox One

Users have taken to Reddit to complain they can’t play Overwatch as a group or via Xbox Parties on Xbox One.

We’re having the same issue — you can send group invites to friends, but they won’t show and cannot be actioned at this time. In a Party, the option to invite members to a game is also unavailable.

Blizzard has advised the issue is being looked into. For now, you can join games that friends are playing, but there’s no guarantee you’ll be on the same side. As a side note, playing alongside a friend in a group is an in-game Achievement, seemingly inaccessible at this time.

Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Update [25 May]: This issue appears to have been resolved — users can invite others into groups inside Overwatch.
