At today’s Final Fantasy XV Uncovered event, Square Enix announced that a new demo, Platinum Demo: Final Fantasy XV would be available today, ahead of the main game.
The new demo will feature unique game play, and will not just be a chunk out of the full retail game. The demo is said to tie into the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV five-episode anime series and will also offer bonuses to those who play both the demo and main game.
So a demo with a standalone story that lets you attack enemies with squeaky hammers? We’re sold.
Platinum Demo: Final Fantasy XV is available later tonight on Xbox One and PS4.
Update: The demo is now up on the Australian PlayStation Store and up now on the Australian Xbox Store. It’s around 3.8GB on PS4 and 4.5GB on Xbox One.
