A new Zelda: Twilight Princess HD dungeon is locked behind an amiibo

Eurogamer today reports that a new dungeon within The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be locked behind the new Wolf Link amiibo.

The detail was divulged in a listing by Amazon France, and has since been removed.

“Unlock bonuses with ‘The Legend of Zelda‘ Amiibos,” the listing, grabbed by NeoGAF, described. “Tap all the Amiibos for the Zelda series to unlock bonuses in the game, such as regenerating your life, or getting arrows for your bow.

“The new Wolf Link Amiibo even allows you to get into a new dungeon: ‘The Twilight Cave’.”

Nintendo has yet to make comment.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is being developed right here in Melbourne, and will be exclusive to Wii U.
