The Final Fantasy VII remake might be episodic

A press release from Square Enix today suggests that the Final Fantasy VII remake might be episodic.

Not mentioned during its recent PlayStation Experience reveal, Square Enix today said that the remake is a “multi-part series”, unfolding over several entries. To the publisher, each entry provides “its own unique experience.”

We’re seeking clarification now.
