Nintendo’s first mobile game is a free-to-play title called Miitomo

Nintendo today announced that its first mobile game will be free-to-play and called Miitomo.

“Tomo” is the Japanese word for “friend”; according to the Wall Street Journal, the game is essentially a social networking game using Miis.

Players will begin the game by creating a Mii, then interacting with other Miis.

The game is expected in March 2016. We’ll have more on Miitomo as it develops.
