Destiny: Cosmetic microtransactions will soon hit the Tower

Bungie today announced that new cosmetic microtransactions will soon be featured within Destiny.

A new currency called Silver will be used to buy said cosmetic items. Items confirmed by Bungie today include new emotes (’cause we all hate point, right?), though its speculated that things like Shaders and Sparrow skins may soon be available as well.

The new items will be up for sale from 13 October, via Bungie.net or via Tess Everis (pictured above) at the Tower.

Bungie will also be gifting some free Silver to Guardians to buy a new emote or two.
