Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5: Patch file bigger than game itself, still doesn’t fix issues

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 looks to be quite the mess.

The Games Cabin last night reported that Pro Skater 5 has a day one patch of 7.7GB. The thing is, the base game itself if only 4.6GB.

Worse yet, Eurogamer’s recorded video, post-patch — and it looks like the game is still buggy as hell. Take a look:

Over on NeoGAF, it’s been suggested that the base game is actually just the game’s demo, while the patch is the remainder of the title. This may explain why the game is still so buggy.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One. Perhaps coincidentally, we don’t have a review copy yet, so stay tuned for our thoughts. Maybe.
