Bungie promises Destiny’s “The Taken King” expansion actually has a story

Whether you love or hate Destiny, there’s no denying that the game’s story is, well, non-existent. Bungie promises that’s about to change with “The Taken King”.

The expansion will feature a narration by Eris Morn, the in-game character who featured in “The Dark Below” as the sole survivor of a team taken down by Crota. That’s important, because “The Taken King” features Oryx, Crota’s Dad. He’s pissed off that Crota was killed in that very expansion.

This isn’t the first time Bungie has promised a better narrative inside Destiny — think they’ll actually pull it off this time?

“The Taken King” is avaiable from 15 September on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
