The Witcher 3: Patch 1.05 heads to PC this week, 1.04 to consoles in this fortnight

Another day, another bunch of patch news for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Now that consoles are on version 1.03 and Windows PC is on 1.04, CD Projekt Red has started to discuss patches 1.05… and console 1.04. Still following?

Community Coordinator Marcin Momot detailed a hotfix that should be released in the coming days that will fix XP issues with certain quests. He also added that the hotfix will bundle in corrections for other issues.

“[These issues are] getting fixed next week,” he said via the game’s official forums. “We were trying to release a hotfix on Monday but since the 1.05 on PC is coming right after that, we might just release 1.05 and include the XP fix in there as well. That will happen most likely Tuesday/Wednesday.

“We do not stop working. We are trying to fix everything. Thank you for your understanding.”

The Windows PC 1.05 patch is expected this week.

Onto consoles, Momot said that patch 1.04 will be released in the next fortnight:

Momot also confirmed that patch 1.03 has locked The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to 30 frames per second, just like it is on PS4.

The 1.04 patch will, most importantly, fix The Witcher 3‘s teeny-tiny text on consoles.
