Silent Hills cancelled, Konami confirms

Publisher Konami has today confirmed that Silent Hills has been cancelled.

“Konami is committed to new Silent Hill titles,” the publisher said to Polygon, “however the embryonic Silent Hills project developed with Guillermo del Toro and featuring the likeness of Norman Reedus will not be continued.”

Both del Toro and Reedus confirmed the same yesterday.

The news also hits as Konami’s P.T. will soon be pulled from the PlayStation store.

Let’s have a moment of silence for a game that we all expected to be awesome, eh?
