Sir Terry Pratchett to be honoured in-game in Elite: Dangerous

Fantasy author Sir Terry Pratchett is the latest celebrity to be honoured with an in-game installation.

Frontier Developments will soon add the “Pratchett’s Disc” starport in Elite: Dangerous, Executive Producer Michael Brookes explained to Eurogamer.

“At Frontier we have a great many Pratchett fans on staff and we were all saddened to learn of his passing,” said Brookes. “The sentiment was reflected by our community so we felt it would be right to remember him in Elite: Dangerous.”

Pratchett was the author of the popular DiscWorld novels, and away earlier this month.
